Elevator Petition

• Your AoP Workers United organizing committee will work with AFSCME District Council 36 and the City of Long Beach to repair the parking structure elevators.

• Whether you are a paid staff member, a volunteer, an aquarium member, or a first-time visitor, we need your support!

• Two out of three elevators in the aquarium parking structure have been out-of-order for the greater part of the year. Over the past few years, if the elevators aren’t broken, they operate slowly. 

• Not only does this pose a barrier to accessibility for those in our community with disabilities, but this issue also negatively impacts the guest experience, a sentiment reflected in our lowest-rated reviews. 

Sign this petition to urge the City of Long Beach to take immediate action to repair the elevators in the city-owned aquarium.
