Aquarium of the Pacific Workers United

We are a collective of passionate employees of the Aquarium of the Pacific represented by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) District Council 36. Our goal is to work with the aquarium to create a fair and equitable workplace that allows us to further the organization's mission of wonder, respect, and stewardship.

We are the teams that work hard to maintain a clean and healthy environment for our staff, guests, and animals, set-up and maintain our tech, engage our guests through storytelling, and create a warm and welcoming space for all who visit.
