Anyone Python S03
Thank you so much for your interests in Anyone Python Season 3. Total 150 people from all over the world (US, South Korea and China) registered at Anyone Python S03, and we have 10 episodes using Zoom. The main theme of Season 03 is "Core Python" that allows students to learn about Core Python and Computer Science.
Anyone Python Season 03 is finished successfully on March 19, 2021. All episodes are available as Youtube videos. All materials are available at description of each Youtube video.

2021 Anyone Python is online "Basic Python" class using Zoom for ALL (students and parents). In this online class, you will learn 'Basic Python' and 'Intro Computer Science' informal way. No curriculum, No textbook, No grade, No PPT files, No materials, No stress ... you need only a computer.
Season 3 deals with a basic Python to learn core Python programming language. Anyone Python S03 is focusing on core parts of programing language including variable, control flow and data structure as well as introductory CS.
No curriculum, No textbook, No grade, No PPT files, No materials, No stress! You just need yourself and a computer to participate!
Who: ANYONE, including elementary, middle or high school. Even parents are welcome. No CS background required!
Instructor: Prof. Jeongkyu Lee (University of Bridgeport)
What: Command Line with basic Computer Science, but informal way.
Cost: Completely free!
When: Every Friday 8:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM (EST, i.e., NY time)
Starting from: January 15 (Friday), 2021
Until: the day when you can go outside without face mask! This program will continue until the "end" of the COVID-19 quarantine. Season 3 will be ended when you are ready for Python.

Registration
No Curriculum
There is no specific curriculum in Anyone Python. Instead, students will learn the following topics:
Introduction to Computing: Computer, Computer Organization, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, History of Computers, Data Structures and many others
Basic Pythons: Installation, IDE, Pycharm, Command Line, Variables, Data Types, Conditional Statements, for-Loop, while-Loop, list and dictionary, PIP, virtual environments
Who is teaching?
I am Prof. Jeongkyu Lee at the University of Bridgeport, CT. I have been teaching Computer Science since 2006, and hosted Computer Science camp for high school students every summer.

What do I need to start "Anyone Python"? Just a computer
I don't have any experience on computer programming language. Can I join?
Yes! I am going to start from basic and fundamental parts of computer science.
I may miss several classes. Can I take this online class?
Yes! Each class will be recorded and I am going to share recorded video after the class
Is there any homework?
Maybe. I don't want to give students stress, but sometime students need some homework to catch up the progress
When is the last date of class?
To be determined. It depends on COVID-19. As long as we stay-at-home, the class will go on (hopefully)
Is it FREE?
Yes!

I am not in US, can I register for this?
Yes! You can try your best to attend the class. However, if not available, you can watch recorded videos
What if I have questions?
In class during the Zoom meeting, you can use chatting box to ask questions, or you can also email to instructor after the class.
