Before working on AI-enabled workflows, I spent several years designing learning systems focused on behaviour change, risk awareness, and practical decision-making.
This work forms the foundation of how I approach AI enablement today, particularly in areas such as learner experience, cognitive load, accessibility, and real-world application.
The projects below demonstrate how learning design, when done well, supports judgment, confidence, and behaviour; not just knowledge transfer.
This work informs how I design AI-enabled workflows today - particularly in areas of learner experience, cognitive load, and behaviour change.

Context
Cybersecurity training is often compliance-driven and ineffective at changing behaviour under pressure. Learners also need support applying the guidance when faced with realistic, ambiguous situations.
What I focused on
Designing scenario-based learning that simulates real-world phishing decisions
Reducing cognitive overload while strengthening risk recognition
Integrating a conversational AI chatbot for active practice and in-the-moment guidance
Designing the chatbot’s guardrails, shaping its conversational tone, and validating responses for accuracy and relevance
Pilot testing the experience with 30 users before launch to a wider audience of 1,200 learners
What this demonstrates
Behavioural and scenario-based learning design
Practical AI enablement within an existing learning experience
Conversational design, response validation, and responsible-AI guardrails
Risk perception and decision-making
Translating complex technical concepts into accessible, actionable guidance
Cross-functional collaboration with technical and LMS partners

Traditional onboarding often prioritises information delivery over confidence, clarity, and role readiness.
What I focused on
Structuring onboarding as a progressive learning journey
Supporting early confidence-building and role clarity
Designing content that complements manager-led conversations
What this demonstrates
Adult learning principles
Scaffolding learning over time

Context
Topics such as harassment and bystander intervention require sensitivity, psychological safety, and thoughtful design.
What I focused on
Trauma-informed learning design
Scenario-based reflection rather than prescriptive instruction
Encouraging safe intervention choices and discussion
What this demonstrates
Ethical and inclusive learning design
Psychological safety and empathy
Supporting behaviour change in sensitive contexts
