Issues and Statements adopted by the Anti-racist Advocacy and Action:

• Budget Priorities: Please download, view, and share this letter, a AAA Critique of Administrative Budget Crisis Decision Making.

• Pay Equity: As AAA member Shea Swauger said in his blog, we need to "normalize sharing how much money we make so that discrimination and exploitation are more difficult." We encourage all community members to consider salary equity and pay within your area and across campus areas. See Shea Swauger's blog post on this issue, with links to pay info for the CU system.

• Equity in hiring: We encourage all members of the community to be strong advocates for equity in hiring practices. This CU Denver News article on the search advocate training is a good starting place to learn more. 

• Read and support the letter written by the CU Denver AAPI Faculty and Staff Group in response to the shootings in Atlanta on March 16, 2021.
