In alignment with the mission of divesting the university from racist, white-supremacist structures we have three primary goals:
To acknowledge, consensually amplify, and actively support the antiracist work being done by BIPOC students, staff, and faculty on our campus.
To work toward dismantling CU’s racist, white supremacist structures and in so doing create a more equitable institution. This includes, but is not limited to, addressing racist policies and practices as they are manifested in funding and financial decision-making; physical space; organizational hierarchy and leadership; hiring, promotion, and contracts; content taught and produced in programs, departments, schools, and colleges; support services and health care; and any other institutional areas.
To push white students, staff, and faculty to interrogate their complicity in CU’s racist structures and motivate them to acknowledge and address these problems actively and immediately.
