My mother Antigone was born in Crete. She has created many authentic Greek recipes many of which I will be sharing with you through this website!!! She has been cooking Greek food since she was a child and is the best cook I know. The first recipe I have shared is for Greek lentil soup (faki soup). I plan to share at least one authentic Greek recipe every month. All these recipes will be written out (click my recipe link), and I will also show you how to execute the recipe through the videos uploaded to my Youtube Channel. I originally started the channel as a way to pass on my mother's recipes to my children and to my family, but since my mother never measures anything, it has been a challenge to actually learn them in a meaningful way and write them down! I have found that when people taste my mother's food they often want the recipe, so the videos and recipe link have now become a way I can not only share these authentic Greek recipes with my family members but also with others who may be interested in making them.
