Rebecca Posner is an award winning applied behavioural psychologist and inclusive mixed methods researcher who specialises in human centred transport systems. With experience spanning government, industry, academia and charity she has led flagship programmes of national research and behavioural change to address critical challenges in mobility.
Combining behavioural science and innovative mixed methods research she uncovers the factors that shape human behaviour and engages meaningfully with those often excluded from transport system design. Beyond understanding human needs, her expertise lies in turning these insights into impactful interventions that inform both individual and system level change.
Using co-design, she facilitates discussions on complex issues to develop implementable recommendations that are reflective of end‑user requirements and achievable within organisational constraints. Her work consistently shapes policy, practice and innovation in the UK and internationally.
