Suggested length: 45 min - 2 hours

Meetings are seen by many professionals as nothing more than a necessary evil. The truth is, they remain one of the best ways to disseminate information and get feedback—if they’re used effectively. In this session, I provide actionable tips for making your meetings—whether you facilitate or simply participate in them—more efficient and meaningful. By focusing on strategies to use before, during, and after meetings, you’ll be positioned to appropriately manage expectations, adapt to different behavioral styles, avoid groupthink, and facilitate conversations important to your team.


"Avoiding Inbox Insanity: How to Manage Your Work, Communicate More Clearly and Be More Effective"

Electronic communication--especially email--is supposed to make us more productive at work. Often, though, it can frustrating trying to keep up. This class will focus on helping you manage communication and learn how to create a system that makes the most of your time with email and other tools so you can be more productive and achieve the focus you need to communicate more clearly.


"Communication Skills for Today’s Leaders"

Suggested length: 1 - 6 hours

It’s impossible to be an effective leader without also being an effective communicator. Unfortunately, many workers cite communication skills as one of the things most lacking in their leaders. To combat this problem, this session will go beyond the basics to discuss what really matters when delivering a message—including tough news, challenging conversations, and giving feedback. Participants will also learn how to choose the right tool for a given conversation and have the opportunity to sharpen the most critical communication skill: listening. It's a fast-paced, interactive look at one of the most critical elements of leadership.

This session can be customized for specific industries and functions (healthcare, higher ed, sales, etc.).

LinkedIn is unmatched when it comes to connecting users with employers and qualified business-to-business leads. However, LinkedIn tends to be somewhat underappreciated and underutilized among the major social media platforms. This session is designed to help participants understand why LinkedIn should be at the center of their sales and marketing strategy. Attendees will learn how to use LinkedIn effectively, make the most of its features, and promote their expertise to an audience specifically focused on business content and opportunities.


"How to Create and Deliver a Great Presentation"

Suggested length: 1 - 3 hours

Presenting in front of an audience is one of the best ways to earn respect and share your ideas. However, many professionals either fear public speaking or lack the skills to present effectively. This session is designed to help you overcome each of these challenges. You’ll hear a frank overview of the things that hold us back as speakers and the ways in which you can become an eager, engaging presenter. In addition, you'll learn strategies for designing slides that keep your audience focused on what matters most.

The best way to position yourself for success is to know what you want, create a story that's aligned with your ambitions, and make connections who can help you get where you want to go--faster. In this session, you'll learn how to do just that--and why doing so has never been more important. We'll also discuss the degree to which social media determines your story and how you remain true to your authentic self while still making a great first impression. You'll leave with an action plan for accelerating your progress and launching yourself toward your goals.


"Social Media Outreach for Recruiters"

Suggested length: 1 hour

It’s no surprise that we’re judged by our online profiles or that as a recruiter you use platforms like Facebook and Instagram to vet candidates, but social media has the potential to be used as a much more strategic tool. In this session, I outline strategies that will allow you to find promising candidates, get their attention and continue the conversation. Learn how you can cut through the clutter in order to connect with qualified leads, and then motivate them to take the next step.

According to the most recent Gallup "State of the American Workplace" study, only 33 percent of workers are engaged, making them less productive and harder to retain. This session will help leaders and HR professionals learn what drives employee engagement, how to measure it in your organization, and which strategies will allow you to improve.

Anthony Juliano is Vice President/General Manager at Asher Agency, the Founder of Point Six Four Consulting and Training, and an experienced speaker, trainer, writer, and marketing and communication strategist.
