November 2018: Many Anthem Ranch residents have used Adam Owens... he is back in school after a summer intern job but has limited availability this semester. He can best be reached via text at 913-568-3239.
Karen Priesmeyer, July 2018: I have used TekTrek (303-438-9365, info@tektrekcomputerservices.com, http://www.tektrekcomputerservices.com) for many years. Guy's name is Greg. Very honest.
Mary Jo McVay, Sep 2018: The team at Code Blue Computing (Jeri & Bill Morgan, 720-746-9763, jeri@codebluecomputing.com) is AMAZING! Excellent technicians and customer service. We’ve used them for years. Haven’t had a computer crash...but know they can help. If they can’t fix it I know they will point you to someone who can. Mention you live in Anthem and that Mary Jo & Mike McVay referred you.
🆕 Ken Watson (Vista Ridge), Nov 2018: I highly recommend Shawne Beeson (www.snowbeepc.com, cell/text 720-924-1994, shawne@snowbeepc.com). My wife and I have used his services for about 6 years and found him extremely honest, knowledgeable, and reliable! Over the years, we had used other services but Shawne is the only tech service provider we have stayed with and now use exclusively. He is a great service provider!
🆕 Anna Luthens (Canyon Creek Erie), Nov 2018: Great communication. Honest, helpful troubleshooting. Delivered earlier than expected. Amazingly flexible with scheduling. Will totally recommend for anyone that gets stuck with a PC issue. Thanks, Shawne! Shawne Beeson (www.snowbeepc.com, cell/text 720-924-1994, shawne@snowbeepc.com).
🆕 Nancy Blum (Anthem Ranch), March 2019: Scott Stenger of Colorado Tech Guys at 303-736- 9036 came to our home recently and helped me organize all of my photos into the Google photos album. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and Scott really knew how to do this professionally ,quickly and explained it to me. He also helped me with other computer issues and tells me he also works with TV sound systems, doorbells and how to cut your cable bills, so he knows a lot about a lot!! I would absolutely recommend him. His fees are so reasonable too!!!
Nov 2018: Some Anthem Ranch residents have used Ferris Alexander... however his email address and phone no longer seem active. If you contact him at a new number/email address, please let me know and I will update this... Penny Morgan, July 2018: Hi, Dan - I forgot to let you know that the referral you gave me for Ferris Alexander (ferris@frontrangetechguy.com, 719-445-9243) turned out great! Ferris was very professional, competent, and easy to work with. I would (and have) recommend him to anyone! He cleaned up my computer but also explained why some of the problems I was having was due to an old computer, system, and programs. He recommended I get a new, updated computer, which I did through Dell on a refurbished unit for less than $400. He then transferred all of my documents and other information from the old computer to the new. His rate is $79/hour. Thanks so much for giving me his information!
Gordon McQuillen, January 2019: I've had work done on both a six year old iPad and much, much older iMac by Shawn's Computer Repair (info@shawnscomputerrepairs.com, www.shawnscomputerrepairs.com, 720-427-6628). Shawn is in Louisville and does work both in his shop and in folks' homes.
November 2018: Many Anthem Ranch residents have used Adam Owens... he is back in school after a summer intern job but has limited availability this semester. He can best be reached via text at 913-568-3239.
Larry Riesberg, July 2018: I bought my iMac 27 in 2010. Apple recommended, about a year ago (June, 2017) that I upgrade my hard drive to a 500GB Solid State unit and increase my RAM to max capacity (16GB). Apple told me what parts to order, which I did and had them shipped directly to me. Then Adam Owens (AnthemTechHelp@gmail.com, 913-568-3239) came to my home and did a great job of installation (while I watched) and performed some upgrades to the programming (ex. cooling fan no longer needed) and went over everything to assure best system updates and operation at the time. Excellent service. He charged $40/hr. (he had a minimum which I don’t remember what it was, but my work took about 3 hours so the minimum didn’t apply).
The following local shops have been recommended on Nextdoor.com for Mac users:

Bill Nesheim, January 2019: I had Scott Stenger (scott@cotechguys.com, 303-736-9036, www.cotechguys.com), from Colorado Tech Guys in to help with fine tuning my surround sound system. He did a great job; prompt and regular communications on appointments, good knowledge of the system and reasonably priced. If you need some in-home electronics help, I recommend you give him a call.
Tom Orlando (Anthem HIghlands), July 2018: Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that I used Colorado Tech Guys today. Scott Stenger (scott@cotechguys.com, 303-736-9036, www.cotechguys.com), lives in Anthem. He was awesome! He had my basement rewired and hooked up to my new tv, surround, etc. It wasn’t an easy job, especially because I cut the cable cord. He got it all going! I would highly recommend using him. For those finishing their basement, it would be good to have him come in while your work is underway to have him run wire.
Bill Sargent (Anthem HIghlands), July 2018: This email is my review of Scott Stenger (scott@cotechguys.com, 303-736-9036, www.cotechguys.com) for his work on setting up our living room TV and speakers and ring doorbell. We initially hired Scott through a service to install our Ring Doorbell and also to mount our living room TV. He installed the TV mount with ease and attached the TV. He then went above and beyond with our Ring doorbell as we needed a better converter to enable it's full functionality. We had no idea what he was talking about... He found the item at Lowes.com and said after we purchased this $10 item he will come back and finish the job for no additional cost. He did just that. He is also a great source of knowledge for speakers. He basically walked us through what speakers and receiver we should get to save money but still 'get the job done' as well as install the whole thing for a fraction of what others were charging. He freely gives his knowledge of his trade and offers to follow up and make adjustments for free. We are planning on using him for our basement entertainment setup in the coming weeks. I highly recommend Scott.
Peggy Reed, July 2018: Several months ago I 'cut the cord’ with Xfinity and had an antenna and new system installed by FreeTVEE.com (info@freetvee.com, 303-452-5254, 7News video here). I don’t watch much TV so the new system took some getting used to, but I am pleased with it so far. Bruce, Brian and Gavin were very knowledgeable and patiently explained how the new system works. My system was rather complicated since I had 5 TVs, a Universal remote and a Sonos system. I recommend them highly.
