Hi! My name is Anna Mann (she/they), and I'm twenty years old. This site's been fun to make! Right now I'm a psychology major, but a career path I've recently been looking into is UI design. In addition to psychology, I like graphic design and programming; all of which play a role in the applications that we interact with every day. In this digital age we live in, the presentation of information is incredibly important.I'm taking this class to fulfill my lab requirement, but I'm also just really interested in learning more about our planet and the processes that have shaped it.
I've definitely spent most of my life here in the High Desert. Though I wouldn't say I'm particularly outside often, I do like to leisurely hike and take pictures when I can. Most recently, I went to the Rainbow Basin by Barstow with my family, and I was in awe of the scenery there. These are some of the pictures I took! I find it really calming to take pictures of nature and try to convey what I feel in the moment.
