Vita

My interest in comparative and international education developed while studying different education systems as part of my teaching degree at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. As a student assistant at LMU Munich's International Office, I was confronted with the daily business of higher education internationalization and the reality of European multi-level governance.

After completing my First State Exam, I was able to deepen my interest in education policy as a DAAD graduate fellow studying International Education at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. During my graduate studies, I gained additional working experience in higher education management at NYU's International Student Center and the NYU Office of Global Services.

I received my PhD in Educational Governance (Dr. rer. pol) from the the Hertie School in Berlin as part of the Doctoral Program in Governance. In addition, I worked as a Research Associate in the Educational Governance Team

Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Technical University Berlin, where I am part of the research unit Higher Education in the Context of Digital Transformation and Diversity. As part of my work, I hold courses courses for future public school teachers.

I have been involved in various education-related activities and programs both in my role as education researcher as well as cross-cultural educator. For more detailed information, check out my project protfolio.
