This syllabus was developed to be a three credit/hours course that meets twice a week, allows a maximum of 100 students, and has a TA to help handling grading and basic organization in the classroom. Modifications for a larger audience and/or the lack of TA includes reducing the number of weekly individual assessments, which can be substituted by group activities in the classroom.
If you scroll down the page a little more you will find some Samples of major Assessments and Evaluations I planed for this course.
The major evaluation is a final individual project each student has to complete as a Blog, described here.
The in-class assessment is the journal, detailed here.
The out-of-class assessment prepared for this course is the Journal each student has to prepare after class. This activity is detailed in the handout (as it would be handled to student), and in the outline.
