"Dialogue cannot exist without humility. The naming of the world, through which people
constantly re-create that world, cannot be an act of arrogance. "
Paulo Freire, in Pedagogy of the Oppressed
Throughout my career, I have sought to promote a fruitful dialog between my students, colleagues, and mentors. I believe that we are all in a continuous, never-ending process of learning. As such, I understand that feedback from my peers represents an important opportunity to improve my performance as a student and a teacher.
In this section, you will find a compilation of evaluations of my lesson cycle, including assessments from my peers and professor. Furthermore, I used the video of my lesson cycle as an opportunity to evaluate my teaching delivery. As a result, you will also find a self-assessment of the same lesson. After reviewing this material, I developed some modifications, accounting for the suggested strengths to retain and the recommended areas of improvement.
All evaluations provided here are anonymous and independent from one another. In other words, they were filled in confidentiality, and the respondents did not have access to other evaluations (including my self-evaluation, given that I analyzed the recorded lecture before having access to my peers' assessments).
