Research Summary
My research is focused on the design, synthesis and comprehensive characterization of functional nanomaterials and nanocomposites using simple, scalable and sustainable methodologies. The primary application of these materials lies in environmental remediation, with particular emphasis on water purification through advanced photocatalytic and adsorption-based technologies. A central objective of my work is to enhance photocatalytic efficiency, adsorption capacity, and long-term material stability via systematic structural, surface, and compositional engineering. In parallel, my research also encompasses the development of polymeric materials for controlled drug delivery, guided by the principles of green and sustainable chemistry to address critical environmental and biomedical challenges.
