I am currently working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh. I completed my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Shoolini University (India's No.1 Private University), Himachal Pradesh. Prior to my current appointment, I gained academic and research experience through teaching and research engagements, which strengthened my expertise in material synthesis, characterization techniques and environmental chemistry.
My research contributions have received international recognition, and I have been listed in the Stanford-Elsevier Global Ranking of Top 2% Scientists (2025). I have published 40 articles in reputed peer-reviewed international journals, 10 Book Chapters and actively contribute to the academic community as both an author and reviewer.
I serve as a Guest Editor for the Journal of Molecular Structure (IF: 4.7, Q2) (Elsevier). Additionally, I am a reviewer for several high-impact international journals, including International journal of biological macromolecule(IF:8.5), Cellulose(IF:4.8), Journal of Polymers and the Environment(IF:5.0),Polymer bulletin(IF:4.0), Journal of Molecular Structure(IF:4.7), Journal of Porous Materials(IF:3.2), Scientific Reports(IF:3.9), Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology(IF:3.8), Current Opinion in Green and Sustainable Chemistry(IF:9.4), Industrial Crops and Products(IF:6.2) etc.
My academic and research interests focus on nanomaterials, photocatalysis, adsorption and sustainable environmental applications. I am committed to integrating research-driven insights into teaching and mentoring students toward analytical thinking and innovation.
