Title: Probing the States of Single Molecules for Sensing and Multi‐value Memory Applications
Duration: July 2022 - July 2024 (2 Year)
Supervisor: Prof. Vihar Georgiev, University of Glasgow, Scotland
Synopsis: Develop Si nanowire and quantum dot devices that can sense the electron states on a single molecule. Device will be designed with specific applications in sensing, memory and logic applications.
Ph.D. Project
Title: Theoretical Investigation of Silicon and GaAs1-xSbx FinFETs for Biosensor Applications.
Duration: Jan 2018 - Dec 2021 (4 Year)
Scaling down the transistor size increases the impact of numerous short channels that damage the device's performance. The research into new III-V materials such as InGaAs, InAs, GaAsSb etc. is being conducted with the goal of enabling next-generation nanoscale transistors. The GaAsSb material is the subject of our research. We utilized the material to examine the electrical properties of three-dimensional FinFETs and then extended our investigation by designing fundamental digital logic circuits. Additionally, we evaluated the device for use as a nanobiosensor and determined the proposed device's sensitivity. The project is headed by Dr. Dip Prakash Samajdar, an assistant professor at PDPM IIITDM, Jabalpur, India.
M.Tech Project
Title: Performance Enhancement of Lateral IMOS by Using Simulation
Duration: Jan 2012 -Dec 2014 (2 Year)
The dissertation examined the operation and optimization of Lateral Impact Ionization MOS (LIMOS). The project focuses on parameter analysis to improve device performance in terms of electrical and high-frequency RF circuit applications. The study was completed using Synopsys Incorporation's Sentaurus Device TCAD simulation tool. Prof. P.N. Kondekar, Professor in the department of electronic and communication, PDPM - IIITDM, Jabalpur, India, supervised the study.
Student Invigilator of the INUP project "Subthreshold Characteristics Investigation of Fabricated Vertical IMOS & TCAD Validation" at Centres of Excellence in Nanoelectronics (CEN), Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Prof. P.N. Kondekar as a principle investigator.
