Welcome to Miss Focus ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Miss Focus (the "App").

Miss Focus is designed with privacy in mind. All your personal data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. This includes:
Notes and Diary Entries — Your written content is saved as JSON files in your device's local storage
Pomodoro Timer Settings — Work duration, rest duration, and cycle preferences
Focus Statistics — Level, experience points, and total focus time
Music Preferences — Playlist order and volume settings
Ambient Sound Settings — Selected sounds and individual volume levels
Appearance Preferences — Selected outfit and hairstyle for the companion character
App Preferences — General settings and customization choices
We do not have access to any of this locally stored data.
The App uses third-party services that may collect information:
Apple App Store / Google Play Store
When you make in-app purchases (subscriptions or one-time purchases), the transaction is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only:
Confirmation that a valid purchase was made
Subscription status (active/expired)
We do not receive your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID/Google account information.
App Store Reviews
If you choose to leave a review when prompted, this is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective privacy policies.
Since all user data remains on your device, we do not use your personal information for any purpose. The App functions entirely offline with respect to your personal data.
Purchase verification is used solely to:
Unlock premium features you have purchased
Restore purchases when you reinstall the App or switch devices
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
Your locally stored data never leaves your device unless you:
Create a device backup (managed by iOS/Android)
Manually export or share files from your device
Your data remains on your device until you:
Delete individual notes within the App
Clear the App's data through your device settings
Uninstall the App
Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data, including your notes, focus history, level progress, and preferences.
Miss Focus is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on the device and we do not collect any personal information, there is no data transmitted to us from users of any age.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We prioritize your privacy through a "local-first" design:
All personal data stays on your device
No user accounts or registration required
No cloud servers storing your information
No analytics tracking your behavior within the App
Your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, encryption) protect your locally stored data.

Deletion — Delete notes within the App or uninstall to remove all data
