In this module I explored digital ethics and different ways to share different types of digital media ethically. Plagiarism, copyright and digital licensing were covered.
I chose this media because I wanted to hear water sounds. The piano did a great job of sounding aquatic! I visited Creative Commons to find this sound. I went to the website and embedded the url here. This audio was shared under (CC BY-SA 2.0 CA) license which means everyone can :
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
share alike – If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same or compatible license as the original.

This image was also from Creative Commons. I searched waterfall, just keeping to my aquatic theme. I downloaded the square version from flickr and then inserted it here. The image is marked under CC BY 2.0 license which means everyone can:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

I made this animation on https://brush.ninja/. Just a sequence of dots moving across the screen one by one. I created the animation, exported it as a gif and inserted it here. Official credit is as follows: McCray, Angela. "Dotty". May 07, 2023.
I took this short video of my children at the beach. Keeping to the theme, I just found it on my phone and inserted it here. Official credit is as follows: McCray, Angela. "A peek at the Chesapeake". Honestly I learned that I myself had some bad habits as far as sharing ethically. I learned about Creative Commons! Giving credit to creators is so necessary and overlooked by so many people on so many platforms. I will do my digital diligence and cite the creator's info and links from now on when I share!!
