Midterm Reflection
Introduction:
I still have a lot to learn regarding the ocean . I believe that the ocean is vital to life ,not only does it help with trapping heat it also provides us with plenty of resources. I'm gaining a better grasp on what the main learning subjects of the class are.
S.M.A.R.T Goals:
My goals this semester were as follows;
"My smart goal is to turn in my work on time. I will attain the goal if I set an hour aside to do the assigned work. In order to reach this goal I will put all of my assignments in my planner. I plan to accomplish this goal by December 17th , 2022".
"My second smart goal is to get at least a B in my classes. I'm planning on reaching this goal by turning my assignments in on time and paying close attention in class. In order to reach this goal I will stay on top of all of my assignment due dates and actually do the work. I want to accomplish this goal by December 17th,2022".
Methods:
For my first goal I originally planned on setting an hour aside for homework. Turns out I should and have had to set more time aside to do my work. I have been on top of putting the assignments in my planner but I then forget to look in it which doesn't really help.
My second goal I feel I have been closer to accomplish than my first one. I have been paying attention in class and for most of my classes I have no missing or late assignments. I still need to work towards this goal though especially for this specific class. To help reach these goals I'm going to put the assignments in the calendar instead of in my planner. That way I can see it on a regular basis and can get alerts for it. My computer is now runny so I can finally work on the eportfolio.
Preliminary Results: For this semester I'd say I got a decent grasp on the work so far. I've turned in most of my work so far for my classes. I really like the class and the coursework. I think based off knowledge I'd give myself a high C or low B .
Strong points: If I had to pick something I'd say my strong point would be remembering processes and all the different diagrams.
Weak points: I would say anything eportfolio related is a definite weak point of mine, along with remembering specific names and labels.
Preliminary conclusions: As of right now I'd say I'd give myself a C. I've been paying attention but I forget to turn the work in and haven't been able to add to my eportfolio.
