Hello! My name is Angelica D. Hernandez, and I am from Modesto, California. I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with a double minor in Clinical Counseling Science and Cognitive & Experimental Science from Dominican University of California. I am in the Psi Chi Honor's Society, and I have taken various Psychology classes that have pertained to the Social Work field.

My Inspiration:

My family shaped me to be the person that I am today, and I wouldn't be able to continue my path to success if it wasn't for their support. The strong friendships that I made at Dominican have left me inspired to do better, to be better, as we support each other in tackling the pursuit of higher education.

Challenges with College?

My biggest challenge was trying to get myself out there. I tend to be a quiet person that would only ask for help after I tried every possible outcome. I quickly learned that the professors and my cohort were extremely friendly and helpful. Because of Dominican, I am not afraid to ask for help and to own my voice.
