Mercile J. Lee Chancellor's Scholar
The Chancellor's Scholarship Program is a four-year undergraduate program that aims to support individuals from underrepresented groups. It emphasizes excellence in scholarship in all educational endeavors, leadership in activities on- and off-campus, and service to the community. Participation includes monthly program meetings, monthly class meetings, as well as many social and service events each semester. Across the four years, the total award was $168,000.
Leaders in Engineering Excellence and Diversity (LEED) Scholar
The Leaders in Engineering Excellence and Diversity (LEED) Scholars Program attracts academically talented women and students from groups historically underrepresented in the field of engineering. The program is centered on monthly meetings and multiple events each semester. Across the four years, the total award was $6,000.
Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship
The Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship provides research training and support to undergraduates. Students have the opportunity to undertake their own research project in collaboration with UW–Madison faculty or research/instructional academic staff. Approximately 97 – 100 Hilldale awards are available each year. This was a $5,000 award.
Jensen Family Diversity Engineering Scholar
The mission of the Jensen Family Engineering Diversity Scholarship is to support female students of color pursuing a degree in engineering. Mike and Mary Jensen created this scholarship. Mike majored in Chemical Engineering at UW-Madison. Mary graduated with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska. Recipients were selected based on their scholarly and extracurricular record. Spread across two years, this was a $10,000 award.
Department of Biomedical Engineering Scholar
These scholarships are a public recognition of the student's outstanding academic performance to date and an encouragement to continue their exceptional efforts in Biomedical Engineering. The three awards summed up to $2,600.

Stanford University ADVANCE Undergraduate Institute (AUI) Scholar
The ADVANCE Undergraduate Institute (AUI) is a three-day intensive institute sponsored by Stanford Biosciences and the Stanford Black Bioscience Organization. The AUI is designed to introduce diverse sophomores and juniors to the Stanford University campus and provide guidance on the graduate school admissions process. After completing the three-day institute, students have access to the AUI network and can engage with previous participants who are currently pursuing and/or enrolled in PhD and/or MD-PhD programs. AUI applicants are be interested in pursuing a doctorate in the biosciences.
Princeton University Prospective Ph.D. Preview (P3) Scholar
The Princeton Prospective Ph.D. Preview (P3) is a nationally recognized program that focuses on engaging scholars from historically underrepresented groups around the path to the Ph.D. The program prepares scholars for the graduate admissions process, provides skill and professional development workshops and provides a unique opportunity to learn more about graduate education at Princeton.
Introduction to Graduate Education at Northwestern (IGEN) Scholar
Introduction to Graduate Education at Northwestern (IGEN) is a program for diverse rising juniors and seniors interested in doctoral study. The 2021 IGEN program will be held either virtually. IGEN provides an opportunity for prospective students to network with faculty, staff, and current students from doctoral programs.
Dean's Honor List
The Dean's Honor List aims to recognize high-achieving undergraduates within the College of Engineering. At the end of each semester, the names of all full-time students in good standing with a 3.5 or higher semester GPA and cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 are included on the Dean’s Honor List.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholar
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund empowers Latino families with the knowledge and resources needed to successfully complete a higher education, and provides scholarships and support services to as many exceptional Hispanic American students as possible.
