Artist Statement
My art is guided by personal truths; I create dance driven by life and living. The intention behind my work is real, genuine, and intimate. I see dance as a way to explore what it means to be mortal; dance allows me to live in the moment. I treasure the process of choreographing, and value collaboration. My choreography articulates organic communication through the indulgence of simplicity. I am committed to play and find experimentation and risk fascinating. I am interested in stripping away conventions and normality in dance, and I shy away from stereotypical perceptions.
My beautiful boys.
