This game is another form of the infinite scroller mechanic, put to use in the 3D world.Â
At the beginning when we were making this I was running into a lot of problems regarding the trail of our player. While I did manage to figure this problem out and fixed it quickly, this one took by far the longest for me to complete as it was my first time programming and level designing in the 3D editor on unity. This project was by far the roughest since at this point, I had only managed to actually code in the 2D editor. My biggest takeaways from building this game were adding in functionality of the game with the rolling player & moving walls that I had set as obstacles.
The Difficulties that I ran into building this game was simply learning to build pieces of my level and moving around in the 3D world. The majority of time that I spent at the beginning of this game building the world was more time than it should have been. Overall 3D was hard to grasp at first, but I managed to figure it out and ended up being happy with the project.
