Hi, I'm Andrew

I am a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of South Florida (USF), and I am completing my clinical internship at the Seattle Puget Sound VA Healthcare System  during 2023/2024.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs. I graduated from DePaul University with a BA in Psychology and minor in creative writing. I am currently finishing up my PhD at University of South Florida, and I will be completing my doctoral internship/residency in 2023/2024 at the Puget Sound, Seattle VA.

Following graduate school, I hope to find a career as a clinical scientist in a role where I balance research, clinical work, and scientific dissemination.  I am passionate about reducing mental health stigma and helping people learn skills to manage and recover from psychological disorders. I embrace whole-health frameworks that view mental health on a continuum and recognize that well-being, social functioning, and personal identity are key components of the human experience.

Featured as a USF Boundless Bull for my commitment to mental health advocacy, I'm proud to leverage my lived experience to fight stigma.
