Research Areas of Focus

I am interested in understanding the prevalence and correlates of recovery and thriving after mental health disorders; identifying and reducing attitudinal and knowledge-based barriers (e.g., stigma; mental health literacy) to help-seeking behaviors; understanding the prevalence and lived experiences of psychologists with mental health difficulties, including how psychologists leverage their lived experiences as a strength (e.g., self-relevant research).

More recently, I am working on projects to enhance suicide prevention efforts at the Veterans Health Administration.
