This section show sculptures of different skill level. Using the sculpt tools, such as mirror, modify and planes, I modelled a glass pitcher, glass vase sculpture and most notably an infrared thermometer. I used the canvas feature to model the body and the welding tool to join two bodies seamlessly. To model the water bottle, I used a decal and modified a cylinder to fit the shape. For the grip, I used the modify tool to make the groves.
1. Infrared Thermometer Gun
2. Sport Bottle
3. (Textured) Glass Vase
4. Glass Pitcher
5. Rear Spoiler
6. Hip Implant
7. Four Fin Sculpture
These sculptures helped me discover different tools that help me create parts with multiple features. Such as the hip implant required multiple 2 cylinders and a sphere to be modified with each shape being moved.
Most notably the infrared thermometer gun required me to use a canvas to shape the cylinders and join them using the weld feature.
To model the cat, I used a canvas to model the cat's body proportion. By using a line of symmetry, I sped up the process by modelling only one side and mirroring them. This was one of the most challenging due to it having to look organic with its' ear, nose, mouth and paws having small features.
To model the penguin, I used a line of symmetry on a sphere to model the body of the penguin. To model the flippers, I modified a sphere.
