In my research, I mainly focus on problems with critical ethical and societal implications. When I started my PhD, there was some urgency to develop a normative foundation for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Around that time, most normative discussions about AI, although very rich and interesting, were quite speculative, and there was little empirical information to ground those discussions. In my doctoral research at Delft University of Technology, I developed several empirical studies about the ethical implications of AI in different societal domains. Hopefully, I made a small contribution to fostering responsible, inclusive, and transparent innovation in AI. As I moved to my postdoctoral research, I have been focusing more on Data Science, AI-Readiness and AI-driven analysis of multimodal data. Below are some of my publications!
