Hi! My name is Andreia Martinho. I am from Madeira Island, but I have been living overseas for several years. I first came to the USA on a Fulbright scholarship to pursue my graduate studies at New York University in the early 2010s. I later moved to The Netherlands and did my PhD in Applied Ethics at Delft University of Technology. Currently, I live in Boston and work as a researcher in Data Science at Tufts University. In my research, I explore problems with critical ethical implications (in my doctoral research I focused on Artificial Intelligence Ethics), but I mainly rely on quantitative research methods. I aim to make these methods more accessible to students and researchers interested in learning more about Data Science.
