Andover Climate Summit
April 8th-9th, 2022
Our team has been invited to speak at the town of Andover's first Climate Summit! It will be held at the Old Town Hall in downtown Andover. April 8th will consist of policy, business, municipal, and youth leaders from our community sharing their work. April 9th will provide workshops to implement effective climate solutions. No One Left Behind: 1st Place!
Below is our painting of a vernal pool, the natural habitat of Blue-Spotted Salamanders. This setting resembles the vernal pool we officially certified. We used shading techniques for the water and rocks to make it look like the sun was shining through the forest. We used paint chips for the Dogwood and Redbud tree flowers, which are native to Massachusetts. We are honored that the 5 judge board and Mass Save sponsors were so moved by our work and awarded us with this Social Justice: No One Left Behind prize!
