For my senior thesis, I researched the impact that parents' mental behavior can impact their infant. Parent who were negative, stressed, depressed and anxious, those infants had poorer outcomes, increased difficulty with feeding, increased medical complications which therefore lead to needing to remain in the NICU for longer. I analyzed research and proposed a future study.
