Renting a vacation rental condo is not like renting in a hotel. We do not get walk ins to re-rent your unit if you have a short notice cancellation. We will work with you to reschedule your stay if you have issues, in many cases. But, we do not give refunds after a certain date based on the listing engine you make your reservation on. Please check the weather when you book a stay and know what season you are booking in. Pop up summer storms do occur in Florida and we do not give weather related refunds, as we have no control over the weather.
We will reschedule your stay for a non-peak period, based on availability, if a hurricane or tropical storm is forecast during your stay. We try to work with our guests. Help us help you by knowing the time of year you are booking your stay in!
Since vacation rentals are NOT a hotel, we do NOT offer 24 hour coverage for non-emergencies. Non-emergencies are things such as: a light bulb is out, you ran out of toilet paper or paper towels, you hit a button on the remote and not you cannot view the TV. Vacation rentals are owned individually, so they are not structured like hotels! Emergencies are things such as: you are locked out of your unit, water leaks, electrical or plumbing issues. Please follow these guidelines when staying in vacation rental units. You are responsible for your paper products for example since most vacation rentals get you started with things. What you are renting is the ability to STAY in someone's vacation home. When you understand this concept you will have a most pleasant stay!
