In the surroundings of Mata Ortiz we have several colors of white clay, with different colors and textures that is why we have to combine them because most of the time a single white clay does not work alone.

We combine them to make the material stronger and more consistent, so that when making the pots we do not have difficulties in casting, also when drying and burning.

Most of the white pots are made of several white clay as mentioned above, a single white clay does not work by itself it has to be combined with other white clay, to obtain better quality pieces.

En los alrededores de mata ortiz tenemos varios colores de barro blanco, con clores y texturas diferentes es por eso que tenemos que combinarlos por que la mayoria de las veces un solo barro de color blanco no funciona solo.
