Other names: Mule Duck, Hinny Duck, Moulard, Mulard
A variable hybrid due to both parent species' domestic history. Body and head shape intermediate. Bill often with at least some pinkish coloration and swollen base. Long tail, large legs, and often with a very broad white collar.
Most similar to pure domestic Mallard. Pinkish color on bill and swollen bill bae eliminate pure Mallard. The body shape can help as well, but beware large domestic Mallards.
