Besides Mathematics, I am also interested in Painting (see this other website), typography and Sanskrita-Bengali literature.
TeXChand for Indian vernacular typesetting
chicago1893, beamer color theme
ibus-table-sasanka, Bengali input in Unix
Taittiriiya, my blog
🌴 Occasionally, I have scribbled in some Bengali little magazines, an incomplete list of which can be found here. I have a blog, but am rather irregular at it. Ranges across anything from about mathematics to poetry or political commentary. I am more serious about painting, a selection of which is displayed on this website.
🌴 TeXSci (টেঁকসই) is a XeLaTeX-based scientific publishing template for Bengali vernacular, part of my planned project TeXচাঁদ.
A pocket edition of the Bhagavadgītā in Bengali script for mobile phone screen: m-gItA, that has been prepared with the above software. However, a draft of the Bhagavadgītā is more important on its own accord.
🌴 If you want to use my beamer color-theme, here is the link. It's based on the color of Swami Vivekananda's iconic attire, an amalgamation (like his philosophy and preaching career) of the East and the West, while in Chicago Sep 1893. One can use it on any theme like EastLansing etc.
🌴 ibus-table-sasanka is an input engine for the Bengali script that works in Unix-like OS. It's open-source, packaged as debian and rpm, and uploaded in GitHub. The interface is, compliant to QWERTY layout, an optimization of phonetic and fixed keyboard layouts. I also have an updated (and probably better) version as well, just not getting time enough to package it properly and upload, shall do soon.
🌴 A suggestive list of my favorite books and movies.
🌴 These are a few short films I attempted to make while in my undergrad days.
