SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Dear Anaheim LULAC Council Members and Supporters,

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholarship Awards Dinner, where we will honor six outstanding AUHSD graduating seniors as they prepare for their next chapter. Your presence would make this celebration even more meaningful for our youth, and truly hope to see you there!

We are asking for support in two special ways:

FIRST, we are creating SWAG BAGS/CARE PACKAGES to help send our grads off to a strong start. Based on donations received, items may include portable chargers, surge protectors, shower caddies and toiletries, laundry supplies, durable reusable water bottles, and basic school supplies.

SECOND, we are seeking donations to help create OPPORTUNITY DRAWING BASKETS for the event. Ticket sales will directly support next year’s scholarship program. To help keep baskets fair and consistent, donated and purchased items will be combined into themed gift baskets valued at approximately $25 each.

You are invited to donate complete baskets, individual items, or funds toward creating a basket. Our goal is to have at least five basket options available. Here are a few ideas:

• Movie Night – cozy blanket, multiple microwavable packs of popcorn, assorted theater-sized candy, and a $10 streaming gift card

• Spa Day – bath bombs, scented candles, face masks, lotion, and a soft pair of fuzzy socks

• Car Care Kit - microfiber cloths, air freshener, tire shine, and a gift card to a local drive-through car wash

• Gift Card Bouquet – $5 gift cards arranged as a bouquet for local fast food, coffee, or snacks (e.g., Starbucks, Canes, In-N-Out, Wingstop)

• Summer Fun - sidewalk chalk, bubbles, sunscreen, beach ball, and a $10 gift card to La Michoacana

• Family Game Night – Uno or Jenga, twizzlers, microwave popcorn, pretzels, and candy

Please consider supporting one or both of these efforts by May 22 to allow enough time for purchasing and organizing.

Cash donations can be made via Zelle (details above). Please leave a description of the donation purpose on the notes.

If you would like to donate items instead, please contact Adriana at 714-261-6642 to arrange pick-up or drop off.

Your generosity and continued support are greatly appreciated as we celebrate our students and invest in future scholarship opportunities.
