I am a full professor at the Physics Department of University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, and an associate editor for Physical Review B.

Previously I was employed as an associate professor in the Department of Physics, at the University of Fribourg. 

I'm an alumna of the Elisabeth Schiemann Kolleg of the Max Planck society.

I was selected as an Outstanding Referee of APS, for 2021, and a member of  AcademiaNet.

In 2023, I was awarded the Ludwig-Genzel Prize.

Previously I was a researcher in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Geneva, working in the Quantum Materials Group led by Prof. Dirk van der Marel. I received my PhD from EPFL.

In 2011 I was awarded a Boursière d’excellence fellowship from the University of Geneva. More recently in 2013 I received the Ambizione fellowship from the Swiss National Science Fund, followed by the SNSF Professeur Boursier grant in 2017.

My areas of expertise are magneto-optical spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and transport properties of topological materials and strongly correlated materials. I often do high pressure research, and dabble into thermoelectricity.
