A brochure for the fictional Museum of Play in Seattle, WA, based on my Copywriting projects. I designed the brochure in Adobe Illustrator, demonstrating intermediate and advanced techniques such as freeform gradients, symbol spraying, and envelope warping.
I've used storytelling throughout my education and career to amplify big ideas and get granular about human issues. Whether I'm using user stories to refine the scope and scale of a design project, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to improve usability, or even weaving together enchanting fictional worlds in my free time, I believe a good story has the power to unlock insights, create and sustain interest, and foster meaningful human connection.
As an early-career communications professional, I'm passionate about usability and accessibility in digital design. I've designed websites and written communications materials that make complex systems, policies, and research accessible for broad audiences.
I have been a three-time National French Contest medalist and a three-time Dean's List honoree. Outside of work, I enjoy writing fiction, listening to music, reading literary fiction, watching arthouse horror and drama films, and visiting local art museums.
