Advanced Materials Processing & Simulations Group

Who we are

Based in School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Leeds, we use a combination of modelling, theory, simulation and experiments to study "Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes" that are complex due to multiscale nature of materials, the rheology of fluid, and multiphysics phenomena in which the interactions of various effects (thermal, chemical, electric or mechanical) lead to complex dynamics. Most of our research are motivated by processing and manufacturing of different materials (ceramics, polymers, and [nano-]composites) used in energy storage systems (batteries & fuel cells).

AMPS is hiring!

AMPS is offering PhD and Postdoctoral positions. Self-funded PhD students might be also admitted subject to interview, eligibility review, and availability of relevant projects.
