Who we are

Based in School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Leeds, we use a combination of modelling, theory, simulation and experiments to study "Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes" that are complex due to multiscale nature of materials, the rheology of fluid, and multiphysics phenomena in which the interactions of various effects (thermal, chemical, electric or mechanical) lead to complex dynamics.

AMPS develops digital process models, from slurry to final part, that let the industry manufacture next-generation energy and structural materials right first time.
