My First Demo Teaching Experience

My first demo teaching experience was unforgettable. I taught a lesson about the four major types of writing in front of my classmates. At first, I felt anxious because it was my first time teaching in front of a class. I was not nervous, but I worried that my demo might not go well. I didn’t want to make mistakes or forget what to say. But when I started teaching, I became more comfortable little by little.

My classmates helped me feel more confident. They listened, responded, and showed support. It felt good to speak in front of them and share what I have learned. I used the knowledge I studied to explain the topic clearly. Their attention and participation gave me the strength to continue and finish the lesson smoothly.

After my demo, Sir Clave, my professor, gave honest feedback. He told me what I did well and what I need to improve. I was thankful for his comments because they helped me understand how to become a better teacher. I learned that my first try was not perfect, but it was not bad either. This experience gave me the motivation to keep learning, improving, and growing as a future teacher.
