Welcome to the AMBA registration page. AMBA uses two registration platforms, depending on the type of basketball event being offered. For pop-up events, a registration link is often shared on our Facebook page, Amherst Minor Basketball, and may also be posted here. These links will typically direct you to Google Forms. For larger season-based programs, AMBA may use RAMP registration; in those cases, the link will take you directly to the RAMP portal. Please use the link provided for each event to ensure you are directed to the correct registration page.

REMINDER: PUT YOUR CHILDS NAME IN THE COMMENT SECTION WHEN E-TRANSFERING FOR US TO BETTER FOLLOW WHO HAS PAID.
1) There is a single Registration for regular season/ competative teams.
2) After Registration closes, we will then discuss competative teams and tryouts etc. Tryouts will not only be for athletes who want to play competative but will be used as a tool to assess skill level prior to be placed on the appropriate team. The details regarding competative/regular teams varies based on number of athletes interested per age group, available coaches and available gym times.
3) Last year we ran a pilot program for U10 competative teams. This year we will not have a competative team but will split the athletes skill level equally amongst teams. More details to follow after registration closes.
4) U16-U18 Registration will open in January

RAMP
RAMP registration serves as the official online platform for enrolling athletes in the 2025-2026 AMBA season. While the registration period has not yet begun, we strongly recommend creating a RAMP account and adding account members in advance via their website (please note that this process should be completed on the web browser, not through the mobile app). You may add yourself and each athlete in your household as members ahead of time. Completing this step early will help streamline the registration process and enhance your chances of securing a spot, as spaces may fill quickly. Additionally, utilizing the website allows you to efficiently manage and review your registrations, reducing the risk of duplicate program enrollments.
You can also be proactive and add a e-transfer payee to your online banking account to be: Amherst Minor Basketball amherstminorbasketball@gmail.com
When registration is open and you are paying your athlete’s season fees by credit card or e-transfer, please ensure that, if using e-transfer, you clearly indicate which child the payment is for. This is important because e-transfer payments are not automatically linked to individual athlete accounts.
In order to Register your athlete for an AMBA program, both the RAMP Registration and Payment must be received to hold their spot.
