Happy Holidays!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful December so far, especially with the official announcement we made about our latest and upcoming film, titled A Very Preppy Christmas! It is a Christmas special, and even our first holiday special from our new, but slowly rising film company. Today marks the official release date of the film.

Around 2 weeks ago, on December 4, you might recall the official announcement, regarding the project. You may check it out, ICYMI, but to sum it up, it is (sort of) a sequel to our other film, The Infamous Fallout of Tara and Raven, and it follows the character Raven as she is frustrated by the idea of Christmas, but with the help of her friend Kiwi, she changes her mind.

Kan Seamount plays the main character Raven, while they also play the other characters Kiwi Pastel and Roxanne Kennedy, with all three characters sporting different colored wigs to tell them apart.

And while Tara (Ashley Adamian), Britney (Alicia Celestine), and Azer (Rynn Brown) will be returning, don't get too excited, because their roles are reduced this time around, due to their scenes being shot in 2021.

What makes this film different is that while some footage was previously shot for the canceled Goffik Gurlz web series, there is some footage that was recently shot, in November 2023, in order to create a good, consistent story, as there was no other pre-existing footage to create a compelling Christmas story.

We also casted an additional cast member, a rising actress named Abigail Ford, to play a minor yet compelling role, dubbed as "Sweet Girl". She is just starting out in the industry, but considering our main goal in this company, we are more than willing to help her in her career as she starts to grow more and more!

Because Abigail's scene was shot during the Thanksgiving break, she was able to record it remotely, and we were able to use green screen special effects to add her into the scene without her having to be there!

So, this film is the first Amethyst Studios production to incorporate the use of special effects! This is a huge step in our filmmaking possibilities, and we look forward to more remotely shot scenes.

This is a new type of filmmaking we want to use. Remotely Shot Films. When an actor can't be there, we take advantage of green screen and special effects, and when filmed properly, they can be edited into the scene, and even the film, to make it look like they are there! It can be great when travelling is impossible, especially with the holidays around the corner. This is a new type of filmmaking we would love to try out, and we hope it can help some of our other actors in the future.

This is Abigail's first Amethyst Studios production, and her next one will be the third, upcoming film, I'm The Boss Here. We are still in the pre-production stage, and we cannot wait to get started!
