Grades 8-12

English creative writing - Develop or hone in on creative writing skill set. This will include readings, writing exercises, and more. 

Reading Comprehension - Reading skills developed through literature and short stories. Strengthen test taking skills, DBQ writing, analysis, annotation, and more. 

Essay writing + editing - Writing essays for class or college entrance, developing editorial skills, and research skills 

Basic Writing and Language skills which includes: Close reading skills, intensive grammar and vocabulary work

Public Speaking - Working with students to create presentations, write speeches, and develop the skills to present. Expand skills through research, curating, and learning how to address multiple audiences

College age up to the graduate level

Research and Research Writing - helping college level students develop their ability to research and apply research. This includes making a thesis, incorporating research, and how to use collegiate resources. 

Reading Comprehension - literary resources, reading and annotating works, and developing a strong understanding of both fiction and nonfiction work. 

Essay proofreading + line editing - writing center work, where we have a session reading and reviewing your paper. Can also offer offline editing, where you send the paper and I will return it with edits and suggestions. (heavily suggest using the free consultation) 

Adult Learners

Research skills - Developing the capability to research outside of a collegiate setting. Apply knowledge to writing or presentations.

Reading Comprehension - engaging in fiction and non fiction work deeply, applying higher thinking, annotating work, and more.

Creative Writing for Beginners - Offering a personalized 1-1 creative writing sessions that help you develop your voice as a writer, engage in writing activities, and more. 

Creative Writing Advanced - For writers who are more seasoned and need someone to help them further their writing, research, and outlining skills. Offer editorial in session feedback, explore new works, and give publishing advice.

Public Speaking Skills - Develop the ability to research a subject, create presentations, speak about presentations, and present to people. Develop confidence in public speaking and presentation abilities. Develop confidence to speak on an online setting, like TikTok or Youtube, and offer resources surrounding digital public speaking.
