Tom is the great grandson of Tommy Crawshaw, Sheffield Wednesday's most decorated player (Twice winner of both The Football League and FA Cup).
Clive is the great grand nephew of Sheffield Wednesday hero Fred Spiksley, who scored Wednesday's winning goals in the 1896 FA Cup Final.
Tommy features as one the 15 club legends in the 150 Year Anniversary Official Dreamscene painting by artist Jamie Cooper. In the painting Tommy holds the original shaped FA Cup trophy that he famously won as club captain in 1907.
'Present day Tom' is a proud Wednesdayite who is passionate about the history that his Great Grandad created and the players he played with.
Tom is looking forward to creating a special monument to celebrate Ambrose Langley and create a focal point in the city that reminds Sheffield people of the great history that was created by the Wednesday players of the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras.
Spiksley famously shared rooms with his friend and fellow Lincolnshire man, Ambrose Langley, on the eve of the final. Langley was a doubt for the match and niether player got more than 2 hours sleep as they checked the weather through the night.
Spiksley aslo features as one of 15 club legends in the SWFC Dreamscene.
Clive released Spiksley's biography with author Mark Metcalf. The book which tells one of footballs most remarkable stories became the biggest selling non-fiction book in Sheffield for Christmas 2015.
Clive's footballing allegiances lie away from Sheffield but he feels deeply connected to Wednesday's history during the 1890's and Ambrose Langley is one of his favourite players from the era.
