To easily activate your Amazon device
If your Amazon activation code is not working, make sure you are entering it in the correct place. The code must be entered only at Amazon.com/code, which is the official activation page used to register Amazon devices with your Amazon account.
Open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Go to www.amazon.com/code.
Sign in to your Amazon account.
Enter the 6-character code shown on your TV screen.
⚠️ The code is not entered on the TV itself—it is entered on Amazon.com/code.
The code has expired (codes are time-limited)
The code was entered on the wrong Amazon page
You’re signed in to the wrong Amazon account
A typing error (codes are case-sensitive)
Go back to your Fire TV or Smart TV.
Select Get a new code or reopen the Amazon app.
A fresh activation code will appear.
Enter the new code at Amazon.com/code.
Once the code is accepted, your device will automatically activate and sign in. You can start streaming immediately without entering your password on the TV.
Tip: Always enter the code as soon as it appears to avoid expiration issues.
