Cape Town has about 2200 species of plants which can't be found anywhere else in the world. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens are considered to be one of the most beautiful in the country. The gardens are on the slopes of Table Mountain in the heart of the Cape Floristic Region. Seeing massive areas covered in flowers is a truly spectacular sight. The outdoor Summer Sunset Concerts, held on Sundays between November and April, are a Cape Town institution.
