Nanpu Bridge

The Nanpu Bridge, located in Shanghai China is a beautiful sight to see. The eye-catching design was created by Shanghai Construction College, Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute, Shanghai Urban Construction Design Institute and Holger Svensson assisted them.

In 2022, the Napu Bridge celebrated 30 years of scenic service, it was opened to the public in December 1, 1991, and since then, millions of people have made their way across it.

The ongoing development in Pudong District made the need for a bridge connecting the area to central Shanghai an absolute necessity and construction began in 1988.
