Amanda's House has recently moved! We are working on creating a new and inviting space. Photos/video of the new space will be available in 2025!
Amanda's House is a licensed, designated facility. This license is renewed yearly and spot checks are done regularly. All previous spot check and inspection reports can be found on the GNB website.
Amanda's house is an excellent choice for families looking for a safe, nurturing, and creative environment for their children. Amanda's love for children is evident in the care she provides, and she has a talent for creating an environment that is both educational and fun. As a new mom working full time I had a hard time leaving my daughter with anyone other than family. Amanda made the transition easy for myself and my daughter. When it was time for my son to start she welcomed him with so much love. She even held him for naps providing a level of care that felt like home. Amanda’s house is more then a daycare, her home becomes a family you can trust. I highly recommend Amanda's daycare to anyone in the Fredericton area who is looking for a great place for their children.

I’ve known Amanda since we moved to Douglas in 2016 but this past year, when I luckily got Eva into her preschool, I got to know her in a different capacity. She is the MOST loving, kind, compassionate educator I’ve ever met. She loves all the kids that attend her program in a way I can’t even explain. She TRULY loves them with all of her heart. She embraced Eva for all that she is and for that we can never thank her enough. Amanda teaches kids far more than just academics, she teaches them how to be a good friend, how to work through problems, to love and respect others. There can’t be any place better than Amanda’s House.

"I would absolutely recommend Amanda’s House to anyone looking for high quality, child-centred, enriching, daycare. My 3 children were connected with this daycare from 2011-2021. Amanda is an experienced, licensed educator who brings a depth of knowledge, professionalism, and compassion to her work. The indoor daycare space is cosy and inviting. Amanda has also build an extensive outdoor classroom, where children are able to build physical literacy and learn about the natural world. Amanda is an excellent communicator and provides parents with weekly (written) activity/learning plans that are tied to learning outcomes, and she also gives daily (verbal) individual updates to each parent. Over the years she has been responsive and proactive in working with me and my children to resolve any issues that arose. I am so grateful for our family’s time at Amanda’s house!"

"Amanda’s House is an exceptional, well-rounded center for early learning. Her passion and dedication for the children in her care is evident in all that she does. Each day is filled with intentional experiences that encourage, motivate, and inspire the children, and these moments are captured and shared with families daily. Amanda is remarkably caring and easily makes you feel like part of a family. She went above and beyond to work with us and other professionals to help us navigate our anxious little girl and prepare her for the best possible start into the public school system. We will be forever grateful for our time with the Amanda’s House family!"

Amanda’s House - August 12, 2022
"It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago, our first-born baby, went into the arms of Amanda for full-time care, as I returned to work after being home with her for 14 months. Being first-time parents, we had no idea what to expect and were nervous and scared. My husband even more given his line of work and wanting to protect her. Amanda provided everything we wanted and more in terms of childcare, growth and development, love, understanding, and passion for what she does. Amanda is one of those people you meet who genuinely loves her job. Her enthusiasm for what she does is evident in the way she talks about your child, the way she writes about them, keeps you informed and updated, all while continuing her own education and learning. My 11-year-old still to this day asks to return to Amanda’s House. She remembers songs, activities, and food from Amanda’s, but more importantly, she remembers the way she felt at Amanda’s House. She always felt safe and happy. Amanda “gets” kids. More so than we did as parents. She understood our daughter, what made her tick, why she was frustrated sometimes, and even did a better job at potty training her than we could. She had her on a nap schedule like no other and had meals down to a science. As a mom, what I loved about Amanda is that she is always playing alongside the kids, guiding them. She doesn’t simply watch over them, she enjoys participating and learning with them. She welcomed our daughter into her home and family with open arms. All this to say, if you’re considering sending your child to Amanda’s House, you should have absolutely zero hesitation. My husband and I would be willing to speak to anyone with more questions as a reference."
