A Place to Belong

Amanda's House is your child's home away from home. It's more than a daycare, you are welcomed as part of a larger community that feels like an extension of your family. Families are always welcome to join us and we have several intentional community-building events every year.  

I believe in providing an environment that is inclusive to every child in my care. A space where each child feels like they are deeply valued and can participate meaningfully in every activity, routine, and learning opportunity. I believe that children are co-creators of their learning and should be given time and space to pursue things they are passionate about.

It is important to me that all children have their unique needs met. should families partner with community resources to help their children thrive, I will always do what I can to create space for those professionals to work and be a part of the learning plan.

Families are a critical part of the success of my program. I believe that a parent is the child’s first teacher and you know your child better than anyone else. A strong partnership with families means that we work together to create an optimal environment for your child to be successful. We celebrate that all families represent their own cultures, race, and composition and welcome these differences as a treasured part of each child. Families are always welcome to participate in our program and its activities. I believe in working together we create an environment where all children are validated, valued, encouraged, inspired, have a sense of true belonging, and most of all, are loved for who they are.
