Design Documents: PSYOP Engagement Operator Training Program
Note: This design rationale was developed as a portfolio demonstration of TSP-adjacent curriculum development applied to a Psychological Operations engagement operator training context. The scenario is fictional. All doctrinal citations, ISD frameworks, and research references reflect actual published sources. The document is grounded in FM 3-05.301 August 2007, JP 3-13.2 January 2014, FM 3-05 June 2025, a December 2025 Department of War memorandum, and Heuer's Psychology of Intelligence Analysis.
This project was developed using AI as a thinking partner for analytical pressure-testing and design review. All design decisions, gap diagnoses, and instructional rationale reflect the designer's own professional judgment.
This portfolio piece demonstrates the analysis and design phases of the ADDIE process applied to a defense training context. Beginning with primary source research in publicly available Army and joint doctrine, the design identifies a performance refinement gap in post-interaction impact assessment and builds a defensible instructional solution around the Analysis of Competing Hypotheses framework from Heuer's Psychology of Intelligence Analysis.
The document below shows the ISD process from doctrinal research and gap diagnosis through task analysis, Army-format objective writing, and design rationale documentation consistent with Training Support Package development requirements.
Design Documents: Meridian Aviation Maintenance Program
Note: Meridian Aerospace Services is a fictional DoD aviation maintenance contractor created for portfolio demonstration purposes. All regulatory citations, ISD frameworks, and evaluation standards referenced in these documents reflect actual published sources. The scenario is designed to reflect realistic conditions in NAVAIR-adjacent depot-level maintenance environments.
This project was developed using AI as a thinking partner for analytical pressure-testing and design review. All design decisions, gap diagnoses, and instructional rationale reflect the designer's own professional judgment.
This portfolio demonstrates a full ADDIE instructional systems design cycle applied to a realistic DoD aviation maintenance context. A front-end analysis of a fictional MRO contractor identified seven root causes of procedural non-compliance spanning cultural, supervisory, procedural, and organizational domains. The analysis determined that training alone was insufficient and recommended a multi-component intervention. The documents below represent the instructional design component of that intervention, focused on shift handoff communication for crew leads.
Together these six documents show the complete ISD process: from performance gap identification through learning objective development, lesson design, procedure redesign, microlearning reinforcement, and formal government-style training plan documentation.

Design Document: First Lego League Volunteer Training
This design document was created to address training needs for volunteer project judges at a FIRST Lego League competition. It is difficult to get judges and even more difficult to train which is required by the organization. eLearning is the best option for judges who live in a dispersed area and are extremely busy with unique schedules.
Design Document: Child Labor Laws
There has been a sharp rise in child labor laws violations in the last few years resulting in large fines against businesses. Managers often cited careless errors and lack of knowledge as causes. This course is for managers to recognize legal scheduling requirements for 14-15 and 16-17 year old age groups.
